Ade Naufal Ammar
Solo operator running brands, bots, and systems out of Pekanbaru, Indonesia.
I've been building things in the digital space since 2010 — merchandise, art studios, conversion services, automation systems. Mostly self-taught. None of it was planned as a portfolio. I just kept finding problems worth solving.
Currently running three active businesses under PT Merchia Studio Kreasi. One thing in the works I can't talk about yet.
Currently building

PayPal USD-to-IDR conversion service. Launched as a proper brand in November 2024, but the underlying service goes back to 2016 — it just didn’t have a name until then.
lapakbangade.com

Anime illustration studio, Hoyoverse-focused. I manage the operations: artist tiers, client intake, delivery workflow.
chrientmip.com

Indonesian Steam Community. Discord + X. Building the space Indonesian PC gamers actually want.
@IDNSteam
Something else is almost ready. Not announcing yet.
Past work
Event proxy shopping service for Indonesian ACG fans. Sourced, imported, and shipped fan-made merchandise from convention events.

Finance, marketing, production, and logistics for three fan zine projects. Teams of 10–20 contributors across a six-month cycle each.

Self-hosted AI automation stack. 10+ scheduled jobs, 30+ custom skills, multi-brand content ops across eight brands — running on Tencent Cloud Lighthouse.

How I work
I don’t separate “creative” from “technical.” I design in Figma and build in VS Code in the same session. When I’m running a commission business, I’m also writing the automation that offloads the repetitive parts so I can focus on the work that matters.
Most of my projects start as something I need myself — a conversion service, an automation agent, a community space. I build it, run it, iterate on it. The ones that stick become brands. The ones that don’t become lessons.
I like moving fast with lightweight tooling: Claude for thinking, Cursor for building, Railway and Cloudflare for shipping. I prefer shipping something real over writing documentation for something hypothetical.
I work out of Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Remote-first, async by default.
Capabilities
I don't separate what I do from what I build. Every capability here is something I've owned end-to-end — strategy, execution, and operation.
Growth & Demand
Full-funnel growth systems — from first impression to recurring revenue.
Intelligence & Automation
AI systems that multiply output without multiplying headcount.
Product & Engineering
Strategy, design, code, ship — I own the full loop.
Operations & Community
Processes and spaces that keep complex operations running smoothly.
Portfolio
Most of what I've built isn't sitting in a deck. It's running. But here's a map of the work.
Businesses
The service existed under different names for years — first under no brand at all, then briefly under Chrientmip before that brand shifted purpose, then through a hiatus in 2024. Came back properly as Lapak Bang Ade in November 2024. PayPal USD-to-IDR conversion, Facebook Messenger/Discord/Telegram bots with fraud detection, manual trust-based operations.
Started as a personal merch circle at fan events. Picked up PayPal conversion on the side. When Starlight Ascension took over the merch work, Chrientmip shifted fully into art commissions. Now a proper studio — multiple contracted artists, tiered commission workflow, client SOP, delivery SLA. Hoyoverse-focused: Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero.
Event-only shopping proxy for Indonesian ACG conventions. 2500+ product catalog entries, 10+ paid ad campaigns across Meta platforms. Shut down December 2022 as the post-pandemic convention circuit restructured.
Writing
I've published pieces in a few places, mostly around Indonesian tech and culture.
- Nawala Karsa— tech and internet culture writing
- Tech in Asia ID— startup profile piece on DealMedan’s founder
- Nauf-vault— personal blog, sporadic
I also write on @adenaufal — AI tools and vibe coding for Indonesian creators, in Indo-English code-mix.
Video
I can still edit. Haven't done it seriously since 2020, and I'm not pretending otherwise. A few things that exist:
Organized projects
Three fan zine projects I ran the operations on, between 2019 and 2021. “Ran the operations” means: finance, marketing, vendor sourcing, production coordination, shipping logistics, and keeping 10–20 remote contributors on schedule across a six-month window.
