Every transfer that comes into Lapak Bang Ade arrives as a photograph. Not a webhook, not an API callback — a screenshot, taken on a phone, sometimes at an angle, occasionally with a thumb across the corner. For years I read those by hand, matched the amount against a pending order, and marked it paid.
I assumed this was the part that needed me. Reading a blurry screenshot felt like judgement. It is not judgement; it is transcription with a tolerance of zero rupiah. Once I wrote that sentence down, the job stopped looking like mine.
The replacement is unglamorous: extract the amount, the timestamp and the bank, match against pending orders, and escalate to me only when nothing matches. What surprised me is the error rate. Mine was worse. Not by much, but consistently, and always late at night.
